Reformed Churchmen

We are Confessional Calvinists and a Prayer Book Church-people. In 2012, we remembered the 350th anniversary of the 1662 Book of Common Prayer; also, we remembered the 450th anniversary of John Jewel's sober, scholarly, and Reformed "An Apology of the Church of England." In 2013, we remembered the publication of the "Heidelberg Catechism" and the influence of Reformed theologians in England, including Heinrich Bullinger's Decades. For 2014: Tyndale's NT translation. For 2015, John Roger, Rowland Taylor and Bishop John Hooper's martyrdom, burned at the stakes. Books of the month. Bad Week as More Dems in Bad News: 3 Indictments--Dem NYC Councilwoman’s ‘Trusted’ Campaign Staff Indicted on Mulitple Counts of Fraud, Forgery & More

Dem NYC councilwoman’s ‘trusted’ campaign staff indicted on counts of fraud, forgery

Three campaign workers for Democrat New York City Councilwoman Maria del Carmen Arroyo were arrested Tuesday and charged with falsifying business records, forgery and offering a false instrument for filing, the New York Daily News reported.

Some things never change, and corruption in the Big Apple appears to be one of them.
The three workers were paid a dollar for each signature they collected last summer on Arroyo’s re-election petitions. When staffers for Arroyo’s opponent, Julio Pabon, noticed signatures from celebrities like Yankee shortstop Derek Jeter and model Kate Moss, authorities launched an investigation.
